OKANOGAN – Riley Prescott (Colville tribal descendant) has been taking the reigns for Omak Express as he jockeyed for them at the Okanogan County Fair (September 7-8).

Prescott stepped in for Tyler Peasley who usually jockeys, but has had some lingering injuries that has plagued him this summer.

Prescott didn’t mind, as Omak Express didn’t miss a beat.

The former football and wrestler from Okanogan placed first on Saturday’s race and then again on Sunday.

Grizzly Mountain with jockey Oliver Pakootas placed second on both days of the race. For the Junior relay races, D-town Express wont he second heat for Saturday.
