The Inchelium softball team is all smiles after they knocked off Almira/Coulee-Hartline (2-1) for the District 5/6/7 title at Kettle Falls High School on Saturday 

Inchelium knocks off undefeated A.C.H. for district 5/6/7 championship; Regionals up next 

KETTLE FALLS - Colville tribal member Meika Heath tallied 11 strikeouts and drove in a run for the Hornets as Inchelium knocked off previously undefeated Almira/Coulee-Hartline in the District 5/6/7 Championship game at Kettle Falls High School on Saturday. 

Inchelium got out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and tacked on another run in the third (2-0). They held a shutout until the seventh when A.C.H scored a run in the top of seventh (2-1) but would get no closer. 

A.C.H. finished with four hits on the day, Inchelium had five. The Lady Hornets had no errors compared to A.C.H’s three. 

Inchelium will play Sunnyside Christian in the first round of the District 5/6 and 7/9 1B Regional softball tournament at
