WENATCHEE – Colville tribal member Trinity Fjellman and the Omak Pioneers lost to cross-town rivals Okanogan in five sets on Friday night at the Caribou Trail League 1A District volleyball tournament in winner to state, loser our format.

The loss ends the Pioneers season as they finished with an 11-5 overall record, going 4-4 in CTL action, and finishing third in the league.

Okanogan advances on the WIAA 1A state volleyball tournament in Yakima where they will play Kings in their first round game.

Omak will virtually bring back their entire squad. They lose three seniors (Sidney Nichols, Emma Haeberle and Tyler Worden). Fjellman will have two years left as she looks to slide into a bigger role next season for the Pioneers.
