Loryn Moore with her grandparents Butch and Kim (Nissen) Stanger

Loryn Moore has signed her letter of intent to play soccer for Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo.

Fort Lewis, which competes at the NCAA Div. II level, looks to build on a season where they went 6-9-2.

Moore, a midfielder, played for Kaimuki High School boy's team in Honolulu, Hawaii, after the girl's team folded for the year due to lack of participation. Playing against the boys, Moore earned Second Team All-League honors.

She is the daughter of tribal member Casey Stanger-Moore and Shad Moore.
