Dedrick Pakootas his freshman year for Spokane CC

Dedrick Pakootas (Colville tribal member) for the past two seasons helped lead Spokane CC to the Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament.

Now he will be transferring to Lewis and Clark College for his last two years.

During his freshman season, the 6-0 foot guard helped Spokane reach the Elite Eight and he capped off his tenure by leading the Sasquatch to the Final Four in the 2018/19 season.

He helped the Sasquatch to a 44-19 record during his two years. Pakootas averaged nearly 15 points a game (14.7) and knocked down 163 3-pointers, shooting 40.2 percent from 3-point land.

“Dedrick is another in a long line of Spokane CC guys coached by Jeremy Groth making their way to LC,” said Austin Johnson, head coach for Lewis and Clark College.

“He is a high-level shooter and proved to be one of the more consistent shooters in the NWAC.”
