Letter to the Editor,

I understand that there is a Referendum for 4 Year terms to be voted on in our next Election.

I hope our Membership Votes NO on the 4 Year term REFERENDUM.

I am opposed due to the fact that; 1.) There are no Qualifications for office, 2.) We do not do Background checks on candidates running for office, 3.) There are no Exit Interviews when Council Members leave office. 4.) We, the Membership, cannot Vote reservation wide for Candidates.

Does a Referendum take precedence over our Constitution? Our Constitution says 2 Year terms of office. I would think that Council would have to Amend the Constitution.

Please consider Voting NO when this comes up for a Vote.
