A youth council, made up of 20 Colville Tribal members ages 15 to 24 from around the reservation, met at the Nespelem Community Center July 10 to express what they see as the most pressing community issues.
The Bureau of Indian affairs will have a new location Sept. 1 and will be able to watch the demolition of its old one as the Colville Tribes begin construction of parking lots and landscaping near the building, according to Land and Property Director Cody Desautel.
