OMAK – James G. Murphy Co. has announced the online public auction of the Colville Indian Precision Pine Mill, located in Omak. The auction will start Sept. 30 and run through Oct. 7.

The auction can be viewed at the company’s website, www.murphyauction.com, and it features mill equipment, buildings and rolling stock and other items.

CBC approved the contract with the company in June. Previously, the company was contracted to auction off the Colville Indian Plywood and Veneer Mill, also in Omak, in April 2018.

That auction resulted in a total of $3.1 million that was deposited into the tribes’ General Fund.

A statement on the auction website notes the Cold Springs Fire did not reach CIPP but did burn through CIPV “where a very small number of items in this auction are located.”

The Cold Springs Fire is currently on patrol status by Mount Tolman Fire Center.
