OMAK - The Paschal Sherman Indian School has announced it is accepting notifications of interest from Colville Tribal members who are interested in filling two vacant school board positions.

“Interested individuals must be a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, and at least 18 years of age. Please submit a biographical sketch explaining if you are a parent, any experience in Indian Education and interest in being a board member. A Board Member shall not be an employee of the school,” reads an announcement published via tribal broadcast system.

Submissions may be sent to Lynn Palmanteer-Holder, PSIS Board Secretary, by email at or by mail at Paschal Sherman Indian School, attn: Palmanteer-Holder, 169 North Omak Lake Road, Omak, WA 98841.

The current school board includes Laura Gribble, chair, John Gorr, Lisa True, Father Jake Morton and Palmanteer-Holder.
