NESPELEM - The Colville Tribal Emergency Operations Center asks community members to continue to practice social distancing.
While our numbers remain low, we have prevented a widespread outbreak by following social distancing pro-tocols. However, we know COVID-19 continues to be a threat to our communities.
We had our most recent case this week as a reminder of this continued threat. Colville Tribal Public Health officials have reported the individual remains in isolation.
Two others currently are in quarantine as they await test results. To date the Colville Reservation has experience 16 positive cases, resulting in one death. Fourteen have been released by medical professionals from isolation.
In the surrounding counties we also see continued increases of COVID-19:
Okanogan: 53 cases, 1 death (including reservation totals)
Ferry: 1 case, no deaths
Stevens: 13 cases, 1 death
Lincoln: 2 cases, no deaths
Grant: 212 cases, 4 deaths
Douglas: 173 cases, 3 death
Spokane: 648 cases, 34 deaths
Chelan: 255 cases, 6 deaths
