KELLER – The Colville Business Council voted during Special Session, Sep. 5, on two different contracts that will see Peone Logging decommission over 25 miles of road in the north San Poil.

Along with the decommissioning of the roads 25.14 miles of forest road, the two contracts call for replacement of 13 culverts, 3,002 of drainage improvements, 10,125 feet of reconstruction of forest roads and 140 feet of new construction of forest roads.

The two contracts are in the amount of $76,119.48 and $117,006.75.

The resolutions, 2019-529 and 2019-530, passed with CBC members Joel Boyd, Norma Sanchez, Margie Hutchinson, Janet Nicholson, Roger Finley, Richard Moses, Joe Somday, Jarred-Michael Erickson and Darnell Sam voting in favor. CBC member Karen Condon voted against both resolutions.
