NESPELEM – The Colville Confederated Tribes Native Connections Program has announced a competition to find the best fry bread maker on the Colville Indian Reservation.

The event will see competitions held in Omak and Nespelem, March 6, and in Inchelium and Keller, March 20.

A note on the event poster reads, “After the dates identified are completed, there will be one winner from each district that will then compete in the, ‘Elite Four (4) competition.’ This is scheduled for April 3, 2020. This date deems the Fry Bread CHAMP!

The event will be judged by a four judge panel.
