NESPELEM – The Colville Business Council voted to allow the Colville Tribal Federal Corporation to retain $12 per million board feed from delivered log revenues for the management and operation of the Colville Tribal Sort Yard, in Special Session, Sep. 5.

The resolution, which rescinds a previous resolution from 2013, notes the change will be funding from front sales, rather than from stumpage.

CBC members Joel Boyd, Margie Hutchinson, Janet Nicholson, Roger Finley, Richard Moses, Joe Somday and Darnell Sam voted for the resolution, and CBC member Jarred-Michael Erickson voted against. CBC members Karen Condon and Norma Sanchez abstained from the vote.
