OMAK – The Colville Confederated Tribes: Department of Transportation has announced construction at Omak’s Benton Street, which includes the Omak Community Center and other tribal programs within the vicinity, will resume, April 8.

The construction, which will include removal of asphalt in the north parking area, is expected to last until May 31.

A release from CCT:DOT notes tribal members should use caution in the area where heavy equipment will be working.

Parking will be available near the north side of the Omak Community Center and near the basketball courts on the south side of the building.
