NESPELEM - The Colville Tribal Elections Office has announced poll voting in the 2020 Colville Business Council Primary Election will take place, Saturday, May 9, with public health safety protocols established from CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Poll sites will open at 8 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m.

Polling sites in the four districts across the reservation:

-Omak | Omak Child Support Building 

-Nespelem | Nespelem Community Center

-Keller | Keller Community Center

-Inchelium | Inchelium Community Center (Changed as of 05/06/2020)

Safety protocols:

 -Poll sites will have a line outside that will be marked six feet apart to ensure social distancing.

-EOC staff will check member’s temperatures before entrance of polling sites.

-Poll site workers will be gloved and masked during the duration of the polls.

-Each poll site will have gloves and masks for members who do not have any when arriving. 

-The poll sites will allow one voter in at a time and will be wiping down the area after each voter has cast a ballot.

Stay home if you have a fever, respiratory symptoms or if you believe you are sick.

Please continue social distancing and following other public safety protocols established by the Colville Business Council that help prevent further spread of COVID-19 across the reservation.
