NESPELEM - The Colville Tribal Fish and Wildlife program has announced it will hold a cultural release of Chinook salmon into Lake Rufus Woods, Friday, at the new Net Pen RV Park on the Columbia River Road.

CTFW has announced a gathering will start at 9 a.m., and salmon will be released at 10 a.m.

The event is open to the public, and an email from CTFW public relations staff to local media outlets has asked that no photos be taken during ceremonial events.

A continental breakfast will be provided.
