NESPELEM - The Colville Tribal Convalescent Center has invited community members to parade by the Nursing Home on horseback or in cars to lift the spirits of elders in residence at the facility for Mother's Day, today.

"[The elders] have been cooped up for sometime," reads the release. "We will have them out in the yard to enjoy the procession. Although you cannot have physical contact with them, just your hellos, beeping and love from a distance will surely bring much joy."

The parade is schedule for 2 p.m., Sunday.
